I still dont know why I like this series

This book was only 190 pages long, compared to the 400 and over pages of the three books of this series. It also cost a bit more. I still do not know why I like this series so much, I just do. The dialog between the characters is still juvenile and it still mskes me laugh, to consider grown women engaged in middle school banter among themselves or with their boyfriends, cocktails in hand and murder as the main topic. This book was much better edited then the other three, but there were still a lot errors. Sex was a topic, but no hot and steamy descriptions. The langauge was nice and clean, the murder was not of the turn your stomach gore venue.
I love the ditzy characters and would like to know them better, more details of their pasts, please. This series could also use the adoption of a few nerotic animals. Readers sixteen and up should find this book entertaining. Looking forward to a new book of this series, even though I almost ashamed to admit to it.
