We've all bought martial arts books that were scarcely 100 pages that hardly contained any worthwhile information. Not so with this hefty tome; it's over 500 pages in a large format with at least 1500 pictures illustrating more grappling holds than I've seen in any other book. The holds are highly creative and reflect his many years of experience as well as tapping into the knowledge of other grapplers (he gives credit to some moves to different people). The book is organized by which bodypart the hold is directed against e.g. straight arm bars, chokes, etc. It seems like everytime I look through it, I learn something new. Some of these holds are bound to make your eyes pop open and have you exclaiming, 'Wow I didn't know you could do that!'
