I use this as a basic textbook for the university course I teach on genealogy. It works well as a fundamental guide in monitoring a step-by-step approach to studying, researching, and understanding genealogy and the price is excxellent for the students. The added bonus is that they can keep all their work notes recorded in this booklet, and even fill between the pages with copied documents. All their work in one convenient place! When supplimented with 'The Source: A Guidebook of American Genealogy', they receive all the information and knowledge necessary to complete a successful genealogical search. This booklet is a must for starting genealogists!
