Contaldo has a gift for making even the simplest foods divine—his french fries (called Herby Chips) are made with a mix of herbs, breadcrumbs, potatoes, and egg whites. Given that this is a UK import, the metric measurements may be a drawback for U.S. cooks. Still, this personal and visually appealing title is strongly recommended for libraries, fans of Italian cooking, and eaters everywhere.
