Overview

What if there is no pre-tribulation Rapture?
How will the witnesses use the world's media to get God's final message across to the world?
Brad Williams is the top Anchor in the U.S. and the world. He works for "The Network", number one ranked news show in the country and the world. Brad makes or breaks politicians and corporations at the direction of their largest stock holder, Aafre Waldger.
Aafre Waldger, world renowned financier with his web of control over the economies of the world and its' politics, knows that the witnesses are the ones prophesied. And through his Master starts a plan to destroy them and allow the Antichrist and the False Prophet to rise.
John Roddenburg, Anchor for Bear News, runs a close second to Brad Williams and his network is constantly attacking The Waldger Group. He befriends the Gentile Witness, Jack South.
Jack South, your common everyday baby boomer now in his late 50's, is selected by God to be the Gentile Witness. His only credentials are that he is a Christian. Jack is reluctant and has difficulty dealing with what he needs to do as he starts to bring down Brad Williams and the 'The Network', and take the word of god to a worldwide audience.
The other witness selected by God, Shraya, the non conforming, Jewish Rabbi who lives in a cave on the Israeli Jordanian border whom helps guide Jack and teach him what he needs to do. Both witnesses take on the world powers to deliver God's message for the last time of God's gift of salvation.
Read what happens when Jack South, God's Witness, is questioned by a panel of religious experts on a worldwide broadcast.
Read what powers the witnesses actually have and the destruction they can cause to get people and countries to listen.
See how quickly, with God's power, that in a four day period when the world is shocked and brought to its knees in worship of the true God, by Jack South and Shraya.

Meet the Author

I spent the bulk of my life writing proposals for companies and responding to them. After doing that forever I decided to try writing. The first book was a self help book about purchasing home improvement. It took me a year but I finally finished it and was quite successful. I then after being frustrated with prophecy books I have read, I wrote The Gentile Witness which is the way I perceived that the two witnesses would appear on the scene as described in Revelations. Now that the project is done I am working on book two which should be ready for publication in January or February 2011.

    Entertaining

This book is interesting enough, but if you are expecting a typical christian novel, know that it is filled with unnecessary profanities and crude speech.

Why is this in Christian fiction, should be Sci- Fi

Over long, not Biblical. Just the sort of thing to confuse a non Christian or a new Christian. Expect more from authors like this who exchange the Truth for lies.

    Just ok

This book is 900+ pages long and he's very wordy in his descriptions. Also, there are a lot of grammatical mistakes that makes me wonder if it a self-published book. I'm not even sure what he's written is biblical. I am up to page 238 and it's finally getting a bit more interesting. I may or may not even finish it if it doesn't pick up a bit more very quickly. I have other books with a similar theme that are more...intriguing.

    No editing

Someone please teach this person some grammar and how to use commas! Also switches narrator from person to person without letting the reader know who the heck first person is. Got this one free but still feel cheated. Couldn't finish the otherwise decent story for all the confusing errors.

Interesting concept, hard to follow at times

I enjoyed the concept behind the story. I agree with some of the other reviews. While interesting, it did become wordy... I skimmed over some of the detailed descriptions and babble. The grammer and typos were a bit distracting, as was the first person narration that changed from character to character without warning. It made it difficult to follow at times.
I would be interested in reading the sequel, but hope that there will be some serious editing done before publishing it.

I personally liked this book. I believe that it is scripture based and for the first time, believe that there will be no "rapture". I think that people have put their spin on scriptures for so long that they believe the "spin" and not the "Word". But in the end, only God knows our hearts and whether we'll see Him in the end or not. And for the people who complain about typos and grammatical errors - GET OVER IT. It's a FREE book for cryin' out loud!

If this book had been edited for grammar, spelling, etc., I would have enjoyed it. The story line was very good but I found it hard to get past the spelling and grammatical errors. I also found it hard to figure out who was speaking. Font changes throughout the book were distracting. Get it edited and then republish.

    Thought provoking and engaging

This book, while wordy at times. has tremendous detail. I found myself several times going to Google and other resources such as the book of the Enoch validate what was written. Never has a fictional book been written with such detail to inspire me to do such things. The book pulls you in but at times you get lost in the excruciating detail of the moment by moment lives of the characters. But then that is the strength of the book makes it seem so real. The only disappointment is the sequel does not exist.

    Blah

Even if this book was right on the money as to events that are to take place it is dull & unimaginative. I had a very hard time finishing it & only did so because its rare I don't finish a book. Sometimes you lose & sometimes you win with these unknown authors, this for me was a loser.

Good story about another theory of end times

A different interpretation of biblical prophesy of the tribulation. An easy read. Definitely left room for a series.

I like the concept and am looking forward to the sequel. As with every ebook I've read recently l am wishing there was better proofreading for both grammar & spelling.

    Interesting, Different

I just finished this very long book. Not what I was expecting, but very good. Really makes you think about the end times. Are you prepared? You don't have a choice as to what is to come.
