    A gem

A rare gem of a book. No sex scenes or cursing and thus suiitable for mature teens and adults. Death and honor and a search for real magic set in an alternate universe. For those who appreciate a good fantasy with a message.

    Silence's "Genuine Magic"

I spent a lesurely afternoon reading this simply wonderful tale that I won't forget about anytime soon. I was taken on an adventure along with the main chartr. Tanner. Together we smiled and cried. We were in awe of the depth of love and selflessness we wittnessed, courage, honor, and of course the ever present evil that shows us all what we all can be capable of when faced with it's rearing ugly head. And of course, what true magic really is. I would read this authors' other stories with out a second thought. Well Done!

    Well written

Nice flow - well done. Ronan and Austen could have used just a bit more development, however, it was still a very good 'read'...

    Very good

Definitely worth your time to read this. A short story/novella that focuses on the postives of life over the negatives. Like with all good fables you walk away with a message. The one I heard is that a life worth living is one of love, friendship, making the most of the good and the best you can of the bad and doing the right thing to the best of your ability even when it is difficult. Oh, and there was some pretty good adventure and writing in there to. Liked it enough to buy the sequel.

    Worth the day....

While it took me only a day to read this in it's entirety, I feel it was worth the day. It is an endearing tale, and one in which every promise made becomes a promise kept. At times you may be so drawn into the story that you might see it play out as a movie, SO totally worth the day.
