This author is so wonderful at vreating worlds that draw you in. Even futuristic worlds. My favorite by this author is her cyborg series. This is very different from that, but still worth the read. The reason its not five is simply because they can completely change their form and are not originally humanoid in apearance. They make the decision to become "fully" humaniod. And yes this is 3M1F.

This was a strange book, harder to follow than her others. Ending was rather anticlimatic and dull.
