Meet the Author

Rowan Jacobsen is the managing editor of The Art of Eating and a frequent contributor to the magazine, for which he has written on subjects including wasabi, umami, lobsters, and mead. He is also the author of Chocolate Unwrapped. He grew up eating oysters in the steamy backwaters of rural Florida and now lives in the hills of Vermont with his wife and son.

<p> The small Eliatrope boy walked in. He had on his blue fox hat that went down to his feet, the hat that hid his secret. He grinned, brown eyes wide. His blond hair was rufdled under his hat, but he didn't bother to fix it. </p> <p> The two Cra sisters walked in. They each had white blond hair up in different styles, freckles, and bright green eyes. One was wearing an all blackjumpsuit with an interesting belt and high boots, and her hair cut short. Her bow was across her back, ready to be used. Her elvish ears were high up as she ad her sister watched. </p> <p> The feriy orange haired Iop waled in, his arm against the first Cra girl. His skin was deeply tanned, strange black markings across the left side of his face and hair. He was wearing nothing bu a pair of brown pants, and a strange cape/scarf that had a red knight's cross on it. His light brown eyes were soft and kind. </p> <p> Wakfu4Ever!! </p>
