The colors and print quality of the images inside the book are absolutely breath taking.  Every page has at least one beautiful drawing/print produced by Barbier.  The text doesn't have much English translations, and there is a multitude of Japanese explanations.  However, this book is more focused on the pictures, so the text isn't as important.  Great for gifts or as a collector's item.
