I bought this item expecting a "book-length" study of Patton. Very few of the good, published biographies are available on Nook at this point. After buying it I discovered that it was only 64 pages long. This isn't a "book," it's more like a long chapter. I should have checked the details before ordering, of course, but I never imagined someone would try to sell a 64 page essay as a book in the first place, especially for almost nine dollars. B&N refused to refund my purchase, but I think they would be wise to establish some guidelines for the authors and publishers they work with (criteria for what constitutes a "book" for example). Maybe they could create a separate category for texts like this, which don't really qualify as books, so that buyers are forewarned. The text itself was fine, but it reads more like a general overview of Patton's life and, not surprisingly, offers no real detail regarding specific battles, conflicts, etc. Also, no evidence of new scholarship.
