Meet GEORGE the flybot, a tiny one-of-a-kind fly-shaped robot who takes his name from the wording on his battery charger: Geo Engineering Office of Robotics at Gadabout Enterprises. GEORGE's boss Darcy Luna, a micro-programmer, sends him on special missions around the world with a company called Fly on the Wall Inc. While GEORGE flies off to explore tiny spaces that are too small for drones to fit, he has a mission of his own: to learn more about how humans act and feel, and maybe--just maybe--find a friend.

Each book in the series interweaves historical facts, animal facts, high-tech gadgetry, and humor with universal themes of friendship, fitting in, and embracing one's uniqueness. About the Author

Nessa Bellido Schwarz is a Latina author who writes about history, science, nature, and the joys and perils of growing up. She lives in Southern California with her husband, son, and a tortoise named Leonardo Da Vinci. Nessa is a longtime member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and her work has been published in Highlights magazine. GEORGE the Flybot is her debut chapter-book series for children.

Jason Fruchter is an illustrator and animator living his childhood dream. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Jason moved to New York City and worked for MTV Animation. Later, he cofounded A&J Studios, working with Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Sanrio to illustrate popular characters for children. He now lives in Seattle, Washington, where he continues to draw well-known characters and create new character designs.
