    Very Informative

Before Linda O. McMurry, there was much confusion on the life of Carver. McMurry cleared it up without a doubt. This book thoroughly depicts Carver¿s life from the beginning to the end with very relevant quotes making the reader understand his perspective on issues. A reader would like to explore this book because it broadens your mind and takes you past the common tale of Carver being 'the Peanut Man' to somebody with goals and great achievements during his time period. From this book, the reader learns how different yet advanced Carver¿s ideas were despite the color of his skin and opportunities given to him.
