The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is America's first museum dedicated to the work of a woman artist of international stature. This inaugural volume documents the initial collection in full color, and adds considerable new insight into O'Keeffe's significance in American and world art.

A problem often presented in art books is the print quality. O'Keeffe's works are known for its fluidity, lyricism, sensuality, and the expressive use of colors. A lot of times reproductions cannot deliver the original intensity, but this one has absolutely beautiful prints that recapture O'Keeffe's works. Above and beyond the visual, the writing in this book is also superb. It annotates without undermining the readers. I give this book a two-thumbs up!!Was this review helpful?
