Meet the Author

J.E. Taylor is a writer, a publisher, an editor, a manuscript formatter, a mother, a wife and a business analyst, not necessarily in that order. She first sat down to seriously write in February of 2007 after her daughter asked:

"Mom, if you could do anything, what would you do?"

From that moment on, she hasn't looked back and now her writing resume includes six+ published novels along with several short stories on the virtual shelves including a few within eXcessica anthologies.

In addition to being co-owner of Novel Concept Publishing (www.novelconceptpublishing), Ms. Taylor also moonlights as an Assistant Editor of Allegory (www.allegoryezine.com), an online venue for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. She has been known to edit a book or two and also offers her services judging writing contests for various RWA chapters.

She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children and during the summer months enjoys her weekends on the shore in southern Maine.

    A fast and fascinating read.

Unlike so many authors, Taylor's Steve Williams series continues to maintain a high quality of mystery, action, and entertainment.

I cannot get enough of this story line with the characters involved, although there are very desciptive crime scenes given you cant wait for justice to prevail

    I Also Recommend:

One of the best thriller writers I have read...not just ebooks.

One of the best thriller writers I have read...not just ebooks. I hope she gets true recognition for her writing. These series are just as well written as any of the current Authors on the National Bestsellers Lists. Excellent Writer! Excellent series! I just had to keep reading. Once I finished each book, I just had to go on to the next one. They are quite graphic, but most of us who enjoy the thrillers are not surprised by it. I am now going back to the first in the Steve Williams Series, Dark Reckoning, which I missed. Then, I will be reading the Games Trilogy Series which involves the Ryan’s prior to the Steve Williams Series.
