GEORGIANA DARCY'S DIARY:

Mr. Darcy's younger sister searches for her own happily-ever-after...

The year is 1814, and it's springtime at Pemberley. Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy have married. But now a new romance is in the air, along with high fashion, elegant manners, scandal, deception, and the wonderful hope of a true and lasting love.

Shy Georgiana Darcy has been content to remain unmarried, living with her brother and his new bride. But Elizabeth and Darcy's fairy-tale love reminds Georgiana daily that she has found no true love of her own. And perhaps never will, for she is convinced the one man she secretly cares for will never love her in return. Georgiana's domineering aunt, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, has determined that Georgiana shall marry, and has a list of eligible bachelors in mind. But which of the suitors are sincere, and which are merely interested in Georgiana's fortune? Georgiana must learn to trust her heart--and rely on her courage, for she also faces the return of the man who could ruin her reputation and spoil a happy ending, just when it finally lies within her grasp.

PEMBERLEY TO WATERLOO:

Can their love withstand the trials of war?

Georgiana Darcy and Edward Fitzwilliam want only to be together. But when the former Emperor Napoleon escapes from his exile on the Isle of Elba, Britain is plunged into renewed war with France ... and Edward is once more called away to fight.

To be with the man she loves, Georgiana makes the perilous journey to Brussels, in time to witness the historic downfall of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo. But when Edward is gravely injured in the battle, she will need more courage than she ever knew she had to fight for their future together.

Editorial Reviews

Historical Novel Review - Anita Davison
I found myself drawn into Georgiana Darcy’s Diary, perhaps because she is a little known-character in the original and this book brings out the wit that lies beneath the shy girl who is Fitzwilliam Darcy’s sister. ... A very satisfying love story ...

If you Pride and Prejudice, you'll love this book

Anna Elliott has stayed true to the characterization of Jane Austin's family members of the Bennett and Darcy families. She has extended beyond the original novel staying true to the period and further fleshing out the main characters. The work flows well and is hard to put down. Absolutely loved it!

    Loved it!

What a beautiful story. These characters were already favorites and the author was able to add so much more depth to some characters that were not discussed as much in the original book. This author has such amazing talent and I hope she continues to write and share her skill through writing more of these good, clean historical romances.

I loved this book SO much! If you love Pride and Prejudice, you

I loved this book SO much! If you love Pride and Prejudice, you must read this. At first I was hesitant since Georgiana wasn't a huge role in the movie, so I didn't get to love or know her as a character, but I'm so happy I have now.

Her diary seems so much like mine. Jealousy and love. Feeling heartache over a man who you believe could never love you and feeling jealous over those who do have love. I even loved the images that were drawn.

Sometimes it would sound more like a story than a diary, but it didn't bother me too much. It made the imagery in my head a lot more vibrant and clear. Whenever her heartbeat seemed to quicken, mine did too for her. The characters, especially Elizabeth, were just like they were in the movie. I've always loved Elizabeth, but I think this diary made me love her even more. I'm happy I even got to know more about what happened to her after marrying Mr. Darcy.

The ending was amazing and makes me actually not want to read her next diary because I was just so happy for her that I don't want anymore heartbreak for her.

Overall, I absolutely love this book/diary and would recommend it to anyone.

    Lovely Read

This was a delightful find. Pride and Prejudice is one of my favourite books and this follows the theme perfectly. Georgiana's diary is an easy read but when you love the charactersit's also a pleasure.
