I was surprised by this book. I was not expecting a lot but it delivered. The characters are very interesting so was the plot, something very different. I wished the book was a bit long it was only 99 pages. I will be reading something else by this author asap

The relationship between Georgie and Beau was intense and romantic as they sought to find a way to be together in a time when it was illegal for them to be together because of their skin color.

I read Thierry's Angel and thought that was a good read. This book was just ok. I didn't particularly care for the narrative style of writing. I also didn't feel a real love connection between Georgie and Beau. Some parts of the story was unrealistic regarding Beau's parents. I don't think it was worth the e-book price.
