College Bound Magazine
What's even better than all the top-notch tips is that the book is written in a cool, conversational way and even offers anecdotal bits in their Stories From Real Life section.
Weekly Messenger
For the first time, college-bound students and their parents have a single location where they can...learn the secrets of composing winning applications.
Booknews
The upbeat tone and the clear, practical advice offered here do counterbalance the attention-grabbing, over-promise of the title. The two authors speak with some authority, having mastered the application process for themselves<-->and they did graduate from Harvard. They include advice for parents as well as students. Get into Any College: Secrets of Harvard Students

In the words of the famous movie reviewers: ¿Two Thumbs Up!¿ This is the only college book that held my interest and actually showed me how to write a better application. Each chapter was helpful and well written. The stories from real life sections were also really interesting. The best part of this book is that it is filled with clear and easy to follow examples along with tons of real examples such as applications and essays¿many that worked and a few that didn¿t! This is a great book and again I give it ¿Two Thumbs Up!¿

Get into Any College: Secrets of Harvard Students

All I can say is this is a ¿must have¿ book for any high school student. I used it throughout the year to apply to my colleges. It had everything including how to write a successful essay and which extracurricular activities to list. There are a lot of other good chapters such as a dozen real essays that worked and about the same number of essays that bombed. These samples were very helpful and helped me to write essays that I felt were as good as any that I could do. Anyway, I really liked this book and have to thank Gen and Kelly Tanabe for taking the mystery out of the admission process.
