So I'm a skeptic by nature, and certainly had my reservations about anything that claims to help you make money. What I found was a surprisingly thoughtful book. I kind of expected Get Rich Click to be another '5 step system' or 'here's the secret' kind of a book. It wasn't. It felt more like a I was a fly on the wall at a think-tank/research group. It was a really interesting blend of documenting the success of others online (lots of good case studies) and researching different online industries (each chapter describes a different online career of sorts).
I love any book that challenges the way I think and Get Rich Click did exactly that. It made my realize that the Internet is early still and there is lots of room for new ideas. It also made me change my mind from "someone's already doing it, the idea is taken" to "someone's already doing it, it must be profitable, I should try too."
I'd recommend this to a wide variety of people, I'll definitely let me techie friends know, my buddy Keith who hates his cube and needs a way out, and probably even my Dad though I know I'll have to field a few tech questions along the way.

First off, let me apologize for the metaphor in the title. I'm not a fan of cliché metaphors. But, I digress.
This book is awesome. I was pretty skeptical at first, the title doesn't really do the book justice. However, once you start reading, you will be won over.
This book is filled with really great tips, for newcomers like myself, and according to my friend George, lots of good stuff for veterans, as well.
I'm about 3/4 of the way through, I just wanted to jump on here and give the author a shout out for a job well done. Now, off to read more...

I truly feel terrible for what the author suffered, but the book reads like it was written by a 4 year old and is really terrible. Guess it's a good thing it cost about as much as a childrens book.

The thing that surprised me most about Get Rich Click was how I read all of these ways people are making money online and I started to realize that this is how most of the sites i like survive. I always took it for granted that sites just sort of existed. I figured people put them up because they wanted to. After reading this book I see each site as a business and it is AMAZING to look at the sites I love and understand them as a business.
Marc changed my mind from viewing the internet as an entertainment and information medium to viewing it as a marketplace for new businesses. Now when I read a blog about wine, instead of thinking to myself I wish I had free time to blog about wine, I think this person has a business blogging about wine, they are making money! This simple realization has changed how I see things. Now I'm not just browsing the internet, I'm exploring and looking for business models I can start to use.

from start to finish, you implament plans to make money on the internet with proven metheds, and even come up with idea's of your own. it's a cant miss step by step does and don't guid to making money onlin.
