This is a solid, hands-on guide to cultivating successful and happy children and the book is studded with real-world examples. The book could equally be called 'How to be a Better Parent.' The advice is not limited to academic achievement but rather in raising a motivated, involved child with a healthy self-respect. The ideas presented here can be implemented immediately and incorported into daily life. The style is clear and enjoyably readable.
