    GETTING OUT AND STAYING OUT...

    Mr. Boothe's second book is THE logical follow-up to his first book. ('Why Are So Many Black Man In Prison'). It offers, in a clear and realistic way, the steps one can follow to SUCCEED...instead of fail, in 'Getting out' and 'Staying out' of prison. It goes without saying ...this book WILL benefit 'anyone' who either is in prison, has been in prison, or knows someone in prison. I myself work (as a teacher) at a prison, and have personally seen some of the benefits and positive effects THIS book had not only on the youngsters I work with, but ALSO on their families. Who often struggle just as much in 'getting and keeping out' their loved ones.

    My son needed this..............

    Great book with a good message for young Black men getting out of prison. I read it and I had my son to read it because he will be coming home from prison shortly, and he told me that he was inspired greatly by this book to get out and do something better with his life. I especially liked the last chapter 'FIND A GOOD WOMAN AND SETTLE DOWN' and how the author relates the fact that over 70% of all African-American women are single and how Black men coming home from prison should look to be more family and marriage-oriented to help curb that statistic. Great, great read.

    A very necessary literary work

    Short and sweet: If you are looking to help someone who is in prison or who was previously incarcerated to "get out and stay out", get them this book!!

    Great resource for soon to be released black males

    I think this book should be handed to every incarcerated black male on the day of his release or before. If utilized, the advice given in this book would be very helpful in their process of reintegration into society.
