I can't decide which book I like better - Janet's first or second book! Both books are a must read for anyone that faces this challenge. In this book, there are many tools and resources presented in a holistic approach of body, mind, and spirit. I never realized how connected they all are until I read this book. I thought that once the fear struck me, the panic attacks were inevitable. I now see how it is all connected and how I can work on each. Janet's book taught me different ways to perceive this fear and how to react, or not to react, in some instances. My anxiety level around this issue has decreased significantly with the help of this book and I am no longer held back in my life because of this fear. There is a very inspirational section of the book based on true life stories and the amazing outcomes people have had after learning and integrating Janet's tools into their lives. You will surely be able to identify yourself with these examples, as well as with Janet herself, as she shares her own personal struggle with this fear. If you have lived a life of avoidance and anxiety around this issue, I strongly encourage you to read this book, listen to Janet's CD and attend her weekend workshop. It is possible to overcome this fear, despite how many years you have faced it. The tools Janet provides in this book are simply incredible!

I credit Janet's fist book, "In the Spotlight" with helping me understand and overcome my life long fear of speaking in public. However, I still struggled with aniexty issues when performing guitar solos in our church music group. Once I learned Janet released her new book, "Getting Over Stage Fright", I immediately ordered a copy and read it cover to cover. Her new book is quick reading and is a tremendous resource offering a multitude of science based well developed techniques and approaches involving the mind, body and spirit to help overcome speaking and performing fears. This holistic approach sets this book a part from all other books dealing with this issue giving the reader the tools and confidence necessary to overcome performance anxiety. Janet's compassion and deep concern to help those of us that struggle with performance anxeity is evident throughout her books. If your speaking or performance anxiety is keeping you from achieving your goals or living life to it's fullest extent, I urge you to get this book. It has made a profound difference in my life. Sincerely, Mike
