Overview

Do you know students who need a strategy for success? There's a good chance Getting School-Wise can provide the answers. This versatile book outlines a valuable set of academic coping skills in a fun and accessible format. Developing organization skills, describing different learning styles, and teaching students how to listen more effectively are all covered in order to help students to perform better in the classroom. Techniques such as memory aids are emphasized over tedious and inefficient note-taking, and games and brain teasers act as study guides. Getting School-Wise uses an approach to test-taking that stresses the importance of writing skills and analysis over merely getting the right answer. These strategies will help both students and teachers achieve their academic goals.
