All Students Helping Students guides are written and edited by top students and recent grads from colleges and universities across the U.S. You'll find no condescending advice here - just stuff to help you succeed in tackling you academic, social, and professional challenges!
Written and edited by current college students and recent graduates from colleges and universities across the United States, each book in this series of student guides focuses on a particular topic of interest to high school or college students and includes helpful advice and effective strategies for tackling that particular task. Encouraging and informative quotes and personal essays from students, as well as suggestions from teachers, professors, and advisors, accompany the content of the guide. As financing post-secondary education is a significant-and increasingly difficult-challenge for most students and their families, these financial pointers provide essential information on applying for financial aid, living within a budget, balancing work and school, and avoiding getting into unnecessary debt, such as credit card debt. Revealing personal essays and quotes from a diverse group of students enhance the informative nature of this guide, as does a section of suggestions from financial aid advisors.

This book is quite different from a lot of other books I've read on the subject because it keeps it short and to the point. Since it was written by college students, you know that they are offering good advice. I also found the worksheets in the book helpful. Overall, it was a great (and cheap) buy!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
