About the Author

Barbara Livreri is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and was raised to appreciate and love books by her mother and father. She has written poetry, short stories and fiction since the age of twelve. She values the delight of a good story over most other forms of entertainment and remains an avid reader. She has worked as a Forensic Investigator and Photographer continuously since 1987 in the United States and abroad. While assisting in the Middle East, she created this story one day when she fell ill from a fever, and the story occured as a dream.
