My favorite part of the book was when they pulled pranks and jokes on Harry and Alex. They said they weren’t scared, but they actually were. They saw no one there at first till this guy came out. He told them they were the only ones this year. The camp was called “Camp Spirit Moon.” They call it ghost camp. The kids were hiding because that’s the first prank they pull on the new kids that show up. Most of the new kids that go there think it’s haunted. There was one person who stuck a fork right in there neck on purpose. They didn’t bleed or nothing. The two brothers talked about it. The one said it’s just a trick. A different kid dropped a pole with a nail in it right on their foot and the nail went straight in their foot. They didn’t feel any pain. My least favorite part of the book is when they had gooey stuff on the floor and nothing happen when they stepped in it on accident. I thought someone would yell or jump out and scare them. My connection to this story is when me and my sister went to the house and we left the doors unlocked for my mom and she walked and was yelling our names but we didn’t answer she called both of our phones. We didn’t answer. When we saw her put her shoes on. Then we yelled “hey mom.!”

A book review of Ghost Camp By Kyaw Kyaw, Grade 7, Yangon International School Harry and Alex sign up for Moon Spirit Camp, a camp with many weird traditions and weird jokes. What seem to be jokes, though, become serious. Sliding a hand into the fire—it is a joke right? Or, isn’t it? The Ghost Camp, one of the books R. L. Stine’s Goosebumps series show realistic but ghostly jokes. Moon Spirit Camp was the only camp still accepting enrolment for summer when Harry and Alex returned from vacation. As a result, they must sign up for this camp. Unfortunately, enrolling is a big mistake. They experience the scariest jokes, which increasingly become more threatening. It even seems hard to imagine. Will these two escape the camp. . .a camp no one has ever escaped? This book is one of the scariest books I have read in the Goosebump series. The jokes were not that scary at the beginning, but they were really scary by the end. This book made me want to read others in the Goosebump series, but I have not found other books that match the quality of this book. The whole camp is against Harry and Alex as they struggle to return home? The idea of this book is to scare the protagonists. The more they are scared, the better the book becomes. Everything seems more normal until the resolution, the most dynamic section of the book. For all Goosebump fans, this is the best book in the series. Readers age eight and above may enjoy this book. On a scale of 1 (low) to five (high), I give this book a five because I could not put it down until the end.

I love scary stories about camps so I just had to own this one. Anyway it's about a boy named Harry. He and his brother Alex are going to Camp Spirit Moon were the campers like to play jokes on the new campers. But then the jokes get really scary. One girl sticks her arm in the fire, a boy sticks a fork through his throat. Harry starts suspecting that something's going on and when he and Alex try to get away they discover that everything they don't believe in is real!

Here's the discription- Harry and his brother, Alex, are dying to fit in at Camp Spirit Moon. But the camp has so many weird traditions. Like the goofy camp salute. the odd camp greeting. And the way the old campers love to play jokes on the new campers. Then the jokes start to get really serious. really creepy. really scary Firsta girl stick her hand in the flameing campfire. Then a boy jams a thick pole rigth thourgh his foot. And you won't want to know what happen to the girl while she's playing soccer in the fog. Still, they'er just jokes...... aren't they?

This book was good. I liked how the camp they went to wasn't scary and fake like in Hollywood but it was normal. The camp just had some weird stuff going on. And I liked how the story was lade out with the ghost and monsters. I really think everybody who's anybody should read this book.
