So disappointing after Cries of the Children

I read Cries of the Children by this same author and thought it was excellent. That's why I bought two more books by the same author. That was a big mistake. It was almost as if two different people had written the books. Considering what had happened to this family in the first book, Ghost Hoyse (which was also very disappointing), how stupid would the family be to totally forget everything that had happened just 7 months earlier. The characters were phony, their dialogue was phony, and their actions were so unbelievable that it made me wonder how stupid does this author think we are? I really don't understand how an author could write one very good book and two that was rididulous!!! What a waste of money. Maybe she hired a "ghost writer" to write these two, cuz it sure didn't seem like they were written by the same person who wrote Cries of the Children.

Really?? Another book with these same people?

All I had to do was read the sample to find out that this gormless family were chosing to stay in this cursed house after all that had happened to them in the last book(Ghost House). So there was no need to buy this book, since I really dont feel like sitting through several pages of these daft people just not bothering to learn their lesson the first time: Hey folks, THE HOUSE IS HAUNTED!! MOVE ALREADY!

I followed the trilogy and the books were great. These are not books for teens. I really enjoyed these books!

    First books by author

Ghost house and ghost house revenge were the author's first published novels. As with anything, we improve with experience!
