Overview

The first three books in the Ghost-in-Law mystery/romance series in one boxset. The set includes:

Trouble in Mudbug

Scientist Maryse Robicheaux thought that a lot of her problems had gone away with her mother-in-law's death. The woman was rude, pushy, manipulative and used her considerable wealth to run herd over the entire town of Mudbug, Louisiana.

Unfortunately, death doesn't slow down Helena one bit.

DEA Agent Luc LeJeune is wondering what his undercover assignment investigating the sexy scientist has gotten him into – especially as it seems someone wants her dead. Keeping his secrets while protecting Maryse proves to be easier than fighting his attraction for the brainy beauty.

Mischief in Mudbug

Sabine LaVeche needs to locate a blood relative fast – her life depends on it. When Helena Henry shows up offering help, Sabine knows she's really in for trouble when it's the best idea she's heard in a while. When private investigator Beau Villeneuve takes on her case, things heat up in more ways than one, but as they begin to uncover the secrets of Sabine's past, the one thing that becomes clear is that someone doesn't want Sabine to get the answers she seeks.

Showdown in Mudbug

Who killed Helena Henry? The shorter list may be who didn't want her dead.

Psychic Raissa Bordeaux thought she'd left her former life behind, but when a child is kidnapped, she risks her secret identity by offering the police help with the case. New Orleans Detective Zach Blanchard doesn't believe in psychic hooey and is certain Raissa didn't get her facts about the case from a crystal ball. He suspects her of something besides being the most intriguing and attractive he's every come across. But when Raissa's secrets put her in danger, can Zach convince her to trust him with the truth before it's too late?

This set of books is TOTALLY worth any money you spend! We are taken on a wild ride through the Bayou's of Louisiana and into the lives of really fun characters! I can't get enough of this author's fun and funny/LOL books! This author describes her characters so vividly that you begin to think of them as personal friends and can't wait for the next book! Check out these other titles that are also LOL! Fun summer afternoon (or anytime) reads!

If you are looking for a wonderful set of books this is it!  I picked up the first book on a whim and after getting hooked on Helena couldn't wait to get the others.  This series has a little bit for everyone - mystery, sexy guys, wonderful women, cajun humor, gators and a ghost!  You won't want to stop with the first book so just do yourself a favor and  get the boxed set!

Fun and Laugh Out Loud Series! Trouble in Mudbug was the first book I read by Jana Deleon, and I immediately searched for others! These mysteries are full of laugh out loud fun and are thoroughly entertaining. I highly recommend this set since the first three in the series are boxed together for you, and you can read one right after the other.

I have read all three of these books. It has it all. Mystery, love, sex, humor, afterlife...seriously there's nothing that someone wouldn't get a kick out of reading. Do you believe in Ghosts...I do, but God forbid Helena Henry follows me around for over a year and then comes back again!! DEFINITELY A MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think about it, just click on the buy button..you won't regret it!!!!!

This is the first book set that I have ever bought. The first book opened nicely. However, the second book has glitches in it. I can not turn the pages and it resets to a page much before where I last read. A little disappointed in the performance on my NOOK color. I am really "into" the story.

There are three books in this series, which start off quite amusing, and then dwindle to rather ponderous. Helena is a character who is a ghost--quite funny and the mother in law of a son whom we find is not biologically hers. Characters quite nicely and conveniently get paired off, and there are some circumstances revealed. All thru this, Helena is probably the most interesting character. I am not sure what the author is attempting. I laughed a lot during the first book. I don't think that I need to read any other of Ms DeLeon's books, but a book club MIGHT enjoy the first one.

You fall in love with Helena so fast even if she is such a witch. I love her. I had to read these books again for the newest book coming out and I am so glad to see her come back to life, so to speak. These people are so wonderful.

What a hilarious dilemma Helena the cantankerous ghost creates for her few unfortunate "friends" and relatives who can see her! And where Helena appears, can murder and mayhem be far behind? This series is hilarious, with whopping good mysteries thrown in to combine for elements that make an enjoyable read. So do!

I found these books to be quite good, light reading. I thought they got a bit better along the way. Sometimes the first one is the best and it goes down hill from there, but these were better as they went along.

I don't read paranormal books but this series was entertaining and funny. Not a typical ghost story and Helena's transition from being dead to appearing to select people is hilarious. Her wardrobe was the highlight of her abilities. When I finished the first book, I immediately started reading the next one. I highly recommend this series for it comedic portions. I loved this ghost.
