The second of Latch's novels I read, this is a great tale. Like Dean Koontz in his glory days, this book is both spooky and heartening. I love the characters. Homespun horror from the south with bad guys, good guys, ghosts and firefights. It does not get much better.

I'd never heard of either the book or the author, but the description sounded promising. I had some Xmas cash and decided to give it a try. I'm proud to say it was a wise decision. This book is dead on! From the opening pages to the book's finale I was enthralled. I've recommended it to several people and most agree, wholeheartedly, with me. Don't miss this one, folks, you'll never forgive yourself.

An outstanding ghost story. An evil mayor in a small town think he can rule without anyone standing up to him. And for a while no one does. Until Elizabeth, the ghost of a long dead teenager comes to the aid of DElaney, a young girl trapped in awful circumstances.
