GHOST COLLEGE
by J.R. Rain and Scott Nicholson
Monty and Ellen Drew, a husband and wife paranormal investigating team—he's a skeptic, she's a medium—are summoned to a southern California bible college after workers report hearing mysterious voices at night. When they encounter the unhappy ghost of a young girl, Monty's skepticism is shaken, but he resolves to help his wife free the trapped spirit. Their search uncovers the Latin phrase "Non omnis moriar"—not all of me shall die—and they learn more about the site’s history as a Catholic school destroyed by an earthquake. But a mysterious presence has plans of its own for the young ghost, and Monty and Ellen must go head to head with a Dark Master that’s had more than a century of practice in demonic deeds. Now Monty must leave his body to do battle with the Dark Master, and he’s not sure Ellen will be able to bring him back in one piece. He’s not even sure what's happening is real. All he knows is that all hell is breaking loose and he's taking a crash course where an "F" means eternal damnation.

CADES COVE
by Aiden James
Buried deep in a ravine in the picturesque Smoky Mountains is a very dark secret. David Hobbs, vacationing with his wife Miriam, inadvertently stumbles upon a small cloth ‘keepsake’ bag and a broken tooth. A human tooth. Miriam begs David to hand the bag and tooth over to park officials, but he ignores his wife’s pleas and secretly keeps the ‘harmless’ items. The action opens a doorway that had been closed for nearly a hundred years and unleashes hell on earth, or at least hell in the lives of David and Miriam. Following the brutal murder of his best friend in Denver, and an aborted attack on his oldest son, David desperately seeks to understand why a mysterious teenage girl has chosen to terrorize him and the males closest to him. To prevent further devastation to his family and end the wanton bloodshed, he returns to the enchanted hills of eastern Tennessee, where a terrible truth awaits discovery...one that forces him to face the consequences for the unpaid sins of his ancestors.

A HIGH HEELS HAUNTING
by Gemma Halliday
Web designer Kya Badder is as Plain-Jane as they come. So, when she sees an ad for a impractically gorgeous pair of red heels where the model is everything Kya isn't - beautiful, confident and sexy - she can't help buying them. And can't help doing a little strutting around town in them. Suddenly, thanks to her fab footwear, Kya's caught up in a new whirlwind life - a modeling contract of her own, a gorgeous boyfriend, and a life in the fast lane. It's almost as if she's stepped right into that sexy model's life. But when Kya begins having strange dreams and learns that the model died under mysterious circumstances, she learns to be careful what she wishes for, as the killer threatens to strike again.

DRUMMER BOY
by Scott Nicholson
On an Appalachian Mountain ridge, young Vernon Ray Davis hears the rattling of a snare drum deep inside a cave known as “The Jangling Hole,” and the wind carries a whispered name. According to legend, the Hole is home to a group of Civil War soldiers buried by a long-ago avalanche. Everyone, especially Vernon Ray's dad, laughs at him...because he's different. On the eve of an annual Civil War re-enactment, the town of Titusville prepares for a mock battle. But inside the Hole, disturbed spirits are rising from their dark slumber, and one of them is heading home. And Vernon Ray stands between the battle lines of the living and the dead, caught between a world where he doesn't a belong and world from which he can never return...

Plus a classic ghost tale....

    Absolutely loved it!

Four very creepy stories by J.R. Rain, Gemma Halliday, Scott Nicholson and Aiden James. Real scares. Good books. Not a bad deal.
