    OUTSTANDING!!!

This book is the tell all and be all of ghostly literature. It is a 'best of' series for Hans, which contains material from his previously released books. I was astounded at the detail, photographs and the reading itself. This is a MUST HAVE for the ghost hunter. Also, by reading this, you get a sense of history of where, why and how ghosts become what they are.

    More then scarey stories.....

I have owned this book since I was 15 years old. My interests in the paranormal began at a tender age of about 5 years old. My family has stories in their past of seeing apparitions appear and then are gone in a instant. I do not see Hans Holzer's books as mere 'spine tingling tales'. I see them as a form of reference for complete understanding of the para-phenomena. I completely respect Hans Holzer's methods of investigation and he is like a form of a mentor to me and I'm sure many other people. This book I have read numerous times and in my life I have a list of places I want to visit because of this activity. Mr. Holzer is awesome, and a very talented and through parapsychologist.

Some interesting stories and photographs, but my God is this man

Some interesting stories and photographs, but my God is this man's ego on overdrive. He's the know it all type of guy that thinks everyone with a differing opinion is a total moron. I also found it creepy he kept mentioning preteen girls' "latent sexual energy" manifesting as poltergeists. I know that's a common theory, but he keeps going on about it.

I have finally found a book telling about the afterlife and ghosts an spirits like Sylvia Brown had wrote about it. I find she was telling it like it is.
