Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Naomi Butler
This book presents the study of ghosts, including current theories, and famous examples. Each haunted place has a "Ghost Fact" and then explains the haunting. Words such as "rectory" and "deceased" are defined, probably for the association of the material in this presentation. Sections are as follows: "A Haunting, Ghost Stories, Famous Ghosts, Ghost Hunting, Are Ghosts Real?" The book is great but it would be good to have even more information about some haunted places. Additional help for the reader includes "Glossary, Read More, Internet Sites," and an index. Some incentives to read this book are listed on the back cover: "Unexplained noises echo in empty rooms. Strange images appear in photographs. Could ghosts really exist? Find out about ghostly events and how science is trying to solve this mystery." Part of the "Blazers: Mysteries of Science" series.
