About the Author

Michelle Tuccitto Sullo has been a newspaper reporter since 1992, and she has covered crime, courts, social services and government. Her work has been recognized by the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists. She has received Excellence in Journalism Awards for stories on the execution of a serial killer, cold murder cases, a convicted mass murderer, parenting from prison, and a man’s ordeal after a work accident left him handicapped. She has a master’s degree in English from Southern Connecticut State University. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, Dean, and son, Kyle.
