    Interesting material, but needs polish

I'm always on the look out for new real-life supernatural reading, especially with a local spin. For the most part this book delivered, with the exception of the poor editing. The book is riddled with awkward or confusing sentences, misspellings, tense errors, and assumptions on the author's part that all readers would know the area he's writing about. That pulled me out of the subject matter and made getting a true chill from some of the eerie tales in the book more difficult. The stories and theories Mr. Balzano talks about are all interesting, the photos are great, I just found myself wishing the technical part of the writing had been better.
