    The Non-Stop reading book

This beginning was ok but not great. When it got to the next chapters, I never stopped reading it. I was astonished to see that after chapter 10 passed, I didn't put the book down!!!!The last 2 chapters were sad. You should buy this book. This review should convince you to buy it. So go buy it and read!

    Friends Forever

It started out in this school and there's these seven kids that hangout everyday at school. The main character is Doris and she is a girl that feels like she's in a prison because she can't stay afterschool with her friends and she haves to come home and watch her one year old baby brother. One day she did and the new boy Amir was there. Big Russell,Yellow bird, and Sherman picked on him because he didn't play basketball. Doris thought they were going to give him a name like Big Russell. It seemed like they were going to fight because he didn't play balland this other boy named T.T. jumped in it and they started fussing with him. Doris thinks its wrong that they mess with him like that. Well you will see what happens in the next review. I think this book is good and it should get 5 stars.

    Amir, the Real Gift Giver

This book is truley outstanding! I'm sure many people including myself could relate to all of the struggles of 10 year old Doris of 163rd ST. The unique characters including amir made this book even more interesting to read. It would seem so amazing to have a friend like amir. This book was really page turning. And even thogh I read it a while ago it will still be my top rated book, EVER.

Highly recommended for children of all ages.

This book was read to me, when I was in the 3rd grade and I again read the book in the 4th grade. I am now 27 years old and I still consider this book one of my favorites. I highly recommend this book for African American children.

    Captivating

This book was a great find. I admit I probably wouldn't have read it if it weren't on a summer reading list but I am glad I did! You have to read this book.

All Bronx Kids Must Read This Book !!!!!

My opinion about the book was very good. I really like the book. I like the chapter 12 which is called the Nit Nowns and it talked about a double-dutch contest.Doris did not like the Nit Nowns because they were mean but at the end they were friends. The Nit Nowns showed Doris the dance that they did to win the contest.I really like the part when Lavinia said to T.T that he is so skinny if he had one eye that he would look like a needle.Ha Ha Ha Very Funny!!
