I really liked this book a lot. It is one of my favorite in the series. It is really sad with tinkerbell and all, but I'm glad that he got a good home in the end! Anyone who loves the phantom stallion series will truely enjoy this book! Hope you like it!

This is a excellent book, but I was disappointed that their wasn't much talk or that many parts about the Phantom. Other than this I would definitley recoommend this book to every one. Some people may think these books are trash, but you have to remember everyone has a different oppinion.

I loved this book, but the only problem about it was that the men in the trailer at the (auction ? i think? its been awhile since ive read this) were trying to turn Tinkerbell around and he was too big for the trailer. I am one of those people who cant see hear or read about any animal getting hurt. Its just how I am... But other than that, I loved the book! Great job Terri Farley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think so far this is the best one. But im only to book 12. This is the best series but i admit that at times it can get REALLY boring but then they get better. Even if your not a horse or animal lover you could come to like these books if you give them a chance!! READ READ READ!!!!!

Ok, I'll admit it, I've grown out of that 'every little girl's horse crazy stage' so this isn't exactly coming from a horse fanatic. But even when I did like, no LOVE, horses, I never cared for these books. I always found that the books had unnecessary length to them which dragged out the plot. The plot was never too interesting, anyway. In this book the main character, Sam (who is supposedly 13, but having been 13 myself I know that it would have been much more accurate to label her as 10 or 11 according to her personality) adopts a draft horse to save from slaughter, but the new horse ends up causing havoc. Same old, same old. If Sam can't handle the auction block without chickening out and having to 'save' a horse, why would she go? Although the horse causes trouble in parts of the book it ends happily (of course.) Would we faint if a children's book actually ended unhappily? Some may say it's depressing, I call it realistic. So if your sick of the recycled plots, happy-ending, little girl vibe of horse stories, this series will be of no relief to you.

This was a very good book. I just started with the phantom stallion series while waiting for lauren brooke-Heartland, to write more books but I am as caught up in the phantom stallion series as I am in the heartland series. I feel like i am in the books. But I wish jake and sam would go out. It is driving me crazy. keep up the good work terri.

I can't believe that some people gave this book a one star rating. Those people are not true horse lovers. I believe that this book and all the others are great, even if others don't think so. If you have any questions about the series go to www.phantomstallion.com
