I Also Recommend:

    I'm a Believer! Great Book!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Annette Martin's life story! I've been a believer all my life and I would recommend this book to believers and non-believers. I think the white light is a blessing and a gift from God. Annette was chosen by a high power to do what she does and she does it extremely well and uses it to help others. It's a fascinating story about a fascinating lady! Annette verified unbelievable horrors in my family closet that helped me to write my book. Thank you Annette for helping bring closure to families who have lost loved ones in unsolved murder cases.

    Terrific

I found the GIFT OF THE WHITE LIGHT gripping. I like how the author, Jim Frey, went from a non-believer to a believer based on true events from Annette's past. Annette is a truely amazing person that uses her powers to help others. The book held my attention the whole way through.

Where Has Annette Martin Been Hiding?

I found her book quite by accident and once I realized that this was a Psychic's accountability of her gift I could not put it down. I read the book straight through. It captivated me. I scheduled a reading with Annette and today I had that reading. For over 25 years I have had readings with psychics, both famous and not. She was 100% accurate in her reading with me and she is such a joy to listen to. I have had readings with "famous psychics" who charged small fortunes and were rude and not even in her league when it comes to ratings or accuracy. I would tell you that purchasing her book would be a great gift to bestow on yourself, not to mention friends, family, book clubs, etc. She is as genuine on the phone as she is her book. It's as if you were talking to your best friend who knows absolutely everything you have ever done or shared with them.

Thanks Annette for showing me the "light" and encouraging me to believe that small changes can make huge differences.

Florida/Mexico

    WHAT A GIFT!!

Annette Martin is amazing. I have read numerous books about other famous psychics but this one I could not put down until I finished it.

Coming from a police family background I was amazed at Annette's accuracy in helping to solve specific crimes.

She seems to have an amazing talent and giving spirit.

I'm glad the book was written by a skeptic.....it makes the book even more credible.

A realistic inspiring human story about Annette Martin

My opinion is that the read was excellent and touching, delving into the life of Annette Martin. She is a true survivor and inspires individuals to embrace their gift (even though some may not accept it for a while and eventually come to terms with it) and learn to deal with both the positive and not so positive aspects in our lives. Annette's book is a fun read where you could curl up in a blanket sipping hot tea and revel at her life's journey with awe. I could relate to some degree of the situations she experienced, and I am in no way saying I'm at her level, however she gives enlightenment, encouragement and strategies to handle the spirit realm with more confidence, and in her book it does just that. My son, Robert, who is 11 years old has spoken with her and truly believes in her abilites and her personable skills she demonstrates to the people she knows. My son refers to her as "The Professional". My son enjoyed her book too, he was able to get an autographed copy of her book.

Gift of the White Light is Outstanding!

Gift of the White Light by James N. Frey is outstanding! This biography embraces the life of Annette Martin, a highly successful and respected psychic detective whose gift began in early childhood. Frey's ability to write on the fascinating work of Annette Martin is superb. His writing makes one feel as if he was sitting across the table sharing Annette's story.

Annette Martin's work is well-known, and her abilities as a psychic truly blesses us all.

I highly recommend this book!

Angela Thomas
Co-Executive Producer
P.O.R.T.A.L. This book proved to be an exceptional celestial adventure for the story of a young child's journey through life and into womanhood who possessed incredible blessings of the White Light and how she shared those blessings with other human beings. A well-written book about a remarkable woman

It's unusual to find a book written in a straightforward, clear, matter-of-fact way on this subject which is so often cloaked in foggy New-Age mysticism. But James Frey's engaging biography of Annette Martin is just that. And the book's style reflects the style of its subject, who is a delightful, sunny, very down-to-earth person. Annette was recently a guest on my radio show, American Variety, heard on NPR-affiliate stations in Central and South Florida, and we had a great time talking about the adventures on which her special gift has led her. She's the real deal, and I'd recommend this book to anyone.

This book enhanced my appreciation of Annette's giving nature

In seeking help, I reached out to Annette, who I did not know, however I am aware of the skills psychics possess. I was so happy that Annette sent this book to me while on a business trip, because I could not put it down and it passed lonely hotel nights quickly. If i had not already known, it would have validated her stills, but for me, it gave me an understanding of the personal sacrifice Annette makes in some very grave cases. The evolution of her work, has brought her to the most challenging of cases, and she gives of herself, for the benefit of others. I have just ordered 4 of her first book, to give to my friends, and start them on the journey of understanding Annette's psychic world.

A fascinating, well-crafted read about an amazing woman

I don't usually like biographies. This book is an exception. James Frey 'author of the 'How to Write a Damn Good Novel' books' knows well how to write. Here he crafts a work as exciting and as much a page-turner as any mystery. Once started, I couldn't put it down. There are tales of ghosts and murders and adventures galore. Annette has lived in Hong Kong and Mexico, met famous stars, hosted radio shows, and had leading roles in musicals. Frey skillfully weaves together all these threads to create a rich tapestry of her life. By the finish, the reader has a real feel for Annette's sunny, generous personality, her many gifts, and her love of family. I found it gripping to the end. Nor is her story exaggerated. Having worked with Annette Martin in the past, he doesn't tell the half of her accomplishments or say much about the unheralded work that she does 'often for free' to help others. Even if you don't normally like nonfiction or biographies, I highly recommend this book. It's a real page-turner.

    Get this book!

When I got this book, I could not put it down. I was literally reading it at stop signs on the way home. This person's life is extraordinary. Particularly if you are skeptical about psychic abilities, this woman's story may just open your mind. All the people she has worked with couldn't be lying or naive, particularly those whose health conditions she has accurately seen and helped. Forensic professionals are not known for gullibility. She has a well- deserved reputation for accuracy. Annette Martin's ability to tune into the most horrific crime scenes, as if watching a video of the event, giving names, motivations, and descriptions is extraordinary. Read and be amazed!

    Thank You Annette!

What a life story! And what a responsibility! Annette gives both her best and it's just a joy to read about her. She also keeps it real -- the mark in my book of someone who really does have a gift and uses it in service to others. Thank you on so many levels Annette.

    Fabulous Story, fabulous woman!

This is a tale that tells itself. The book is both fascinating and compelling - a real page turner! What a pleasure and a privilege to be given a window into this great lady's life. You can satisfy your own intellectual curiosity by reading this book at home, on an airplane or while on vacation, or what a wonderful way to address your gift giving concerns birthdays, holidays, etc. Annette has been a guest on my podcast `A Mental Health Moment' and she is every bit as intelligent and charming as she appears in the book. All in all this book is not to be missed!

Fascinating biography of an extraordinary woman

¿Gift of the White Light¿ by Annette Martin is a rare biographical glimpse into the world of a woman blessed and also challenged with a very special gift of psychic intuition. She opens her heart and history to us as we follow her from her early childhood fears, through a difficult relationship with her mother, a dynamic career as actress and singer and into her true calling as a world-famous psychic detective and medical intuitive. She is loving, joyous, amazingly talented and forever unforgettable. In an age when disbelief is common, even her biographer admits that he was at first skeptical but then captivated by her abilities and her heart. Give yourself the ¿Gift of the White Light.¿ You will spend an enjoyable few hours with a rare person and be very pleased to have done so!

    Gift of the White Light

An absorbing read. Skeptical at first, I bought the book because I'd read the writer, James N. Frey's Edgar nominated mystery. Presented in a compelling way and with facts to back it up we learn how Annette Martin's experience over 36 years helped so many. How her intuition and gift of the white light has transformed not only her life but impacted others. She was even the first psychic detective sworn in as an expert witness in a court of law for a murder case. Read it!
