I think that this book is only for beginner Ginger Breaders. I am a professional prize winning Gingerbread House maker and I could not realte to this book. However I think maybe it could help establish techniques for beginners. A professional Gingerbread House maker takes months and many many hours to make their Gingerbread House and I think that this is the reason I could not particularly relate to this book. I take time and lots of money to make mine. I have won many ribbons. Thank you.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I loved the wide variety of houses in this book. There's a swiss chalet, a split level, a castle, a birdhouse, etc. Also there's a chapter with a million little ideas that I never would have thought of, like using shredded wheat for a thatched roof or tea leaves for mulch, or alphabet pasta for lettering on signs. I made little houses following the book's instructions using graham crackers with a girl scout troop, and it was easy! Forget putting them on a milk carton first! This book has a much easier way. I totally recommend it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

With this book, my sons and I made a good, solid, gorgeous little gingerbread house on our first try. Cargas wants you to succeed with your house; the book is loaded with tips. Great photos, inspiring ideas. Terrific! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
