Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
The version of this fairy/morality tale is the one I remember hearing as a child. The freshly baked Gingerbread Man escapes from the oven and as he runs away from the old couple that made him, an entourage of creatures decide to join the chase. Car, snake and goose all think The Gingerbread Man would be a delicious snack. When he meets up with the wily fox who offers to transport him across the river to escape his pursuers, The Gingerbread Man meets his match and fateful end. The illustrations are perfectly attuned to the text and this is a presentation that should last. A "Brighter Child Keepsake Story." 2002, McGraw-Hill Children's Publishing,

    Cute Book

The Gingerbread man is a wonderful children's book, and should be read by elementary school teachers to their students. The kids will really enjoy the story.

    A good teaching taught

This is a simplistic book that will teach children that no matter how good or great they might be or see themselves as being, that it's not in their best interest to become too cocky or they might get gotten in a bad way.
