I think this could be a great book but the misspelling was terrible. It really took away from the story when you had to figure out what they were trying to say. Some, I could not figure out. Who ever done the proof reading of this book should be fired. It had a great story line and was interesting.

Loved this book!! the story was fantastic, old fashioned and just wonderful. The begining was a bit rough, but push through and you will be pleasantly suprised. Also, I wish that someone would have taken the time to make sure the typing and spelling was correct, it was mildly irritating to have to try to figure out some words, but again well worth the time. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

I really enjoyed this story. It was wholesome and faith-based. What I did wonder about was, who typed this into a nook book? There was misspelling and whole paragraphs were just symbols versus words. It was a mess. I was wondering if this was a beginner project for bonus points or something. It really took away from the story. In fact, I am going to delete it from my library because I don't want to deal with it, again.

I enjoyed this little book and appreciated the fact that it was a fairly short book. It had a believable story line and you got to feel like you knew the characters. Cleaning of the manuscript before publication would have helped tremendously - it appeared that some things could have easily disappeared with running it through spell-check, but for the price I shouldn't complain!

A few typo errors are nothing new on ebooks, but 16 pages of gibberish beginning on page 135, is just is too much to excuse. If you cant proofread your own work, hire someone to do it for you.

I wish someone would have taken the time to proof read this book. A lot of people would have enjoyed this book much more if someone would have taken the time to spell check it. Well anyway, I loved the story, just wish it would have been checked better.

So many typos it was hard to read. I did read the whole thing anyway. Enjoyed the story.

I loved this book. It is a "rags to riches" yet staying humble book. I couldn't put the book down. Family, victims, adventure, God and learning! Glorious ending.

This is a wonderful "clean" story. Written in old style, but very enchanting and fun. You really become attached to the characters. Simple in writing, plot moves along quickly. Good for teens and adults. There are some issues with the printing, as this is a scanned copy of the book. But you can easily become accustomed to identifying what those changes should be. It interferes with the reading only in a very minor way. Well worth the read!

I have always like Grace Livingston Hill and this was a good book. However, this book could use a good spell check. It had symbols and weird spellings all through out the book. In Chapter 15 there was 3 pages of just symbols, no words that I could make out, and then it picked back up with the story with only missing one or two words in the story line. I thought it very odd. 3 stars because I love Grace Livingston Hill books and I know this was a good read, but it could use a good spell check.
