Editorial Reviews

Claude Bouchard
I just finished reading "A Girl Like You" and what can I say besides "Locke hasn't lost the touch one iota!" I've read all of John's novels to date and this most recent Donovan Creed is just as captivating, quirky and hilarious as all of its predecessors. I'm proud to call John a friend and damned happy that he's chosen to share his works with us.

    Another great story

What I love about John Locke is that you can never see the twists and turns coming. No matter how many of his books I read, I cannot predict what comes next. I liked the humor in this one.

    A different kind of "hero"

Donovan Creed is a different kind of protagonist. He is a killer who works to make things right in his retirement. But he is direct and brutal in his methods. John Locke's story is fast paced, to the point and his writing packs a punch. His tale is engrossing enough so that I bought another in the series to keep reading his style and keep up with his "hero." If you like your thrillers a little on the gritty side try this one.
If you are a book club member try reading several of Locke's stories and match them to another thriller author. Try Micky Spillane. Gritty.
