Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

"On my honor, I will try to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law." On March 12th, 2012, the Girl Scouts of America will celebrate their centennial. During those one hundred years, more than fifty million girls have participated in Girl Scout activities. This official tie-in book highlights that laudable longevity with previously unpublished photographs, documents, letters, and other Girl Scout memorabilia. Drawing on the organization's vast archives, this gift-worthy hardcover offers historical uniform pictures, photographs of First Ladies with Scouts, and interesting facets of Scout history. A neat salute to a great American institution.
