Anne McCaffrey is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, next to Tolkien and Orson Scott Card, and this book offers another swim in her unique writing style. Michael Whelan's illustrations complement the book without intruding on the imagination, but rather enhance the type of images McCaffrey's writing envokes. Though a compilation of short works, not one entire story, this book is very enjoyable. After all, it's McCaffrey at her magic again. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
