Girls I Have Known/Intimate Jim Reeves

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Bruce Eder
The pair of classic Jim Reeves albums on this CD date from the outset and the heart of his pop/country crossover period, respectively. Girls I Have Known and The Intimate Jim Reeves make an excellent pairing in terms of representing the development and evolution of his LP work, although the songs off of Girls I Have Known hold up somewhat better four decades later. The sound, as with this entire series of releases, is excellent as well, and the annotation is informative (and the booklet includes re-creations of the original art for both albums).
