What an awesome little book! Perfect for any little girl or the little girl inside us all. Ten bedtime fables about girls (or re-told with a female heroine) without anything violent, objectionable, or even a trace of boy-bashing. I will look for more of these exciting and sweet stories. Highly recommended!

I really liked the stories in this "book" but it was only 65 pages! That is nearly a nickle per page! I was very disappointed in that. Most ebooks are more like 1? per page.

This book is about various girls who have saved their town, family, or siblings from poisonous, painful, embarrassing and other situations. The Peace Makers was, I think, the best story of them all, however, Jamila and the Lion was very good, too. Kim¿s Surprise Witness, didn¿t get much attention from the back, but Jamila and the Lion did. The story Jamila and The Lion is on the cover of the book, and , originally, it¿s Jamila and the Tiger, but it was changed for special reasons. This is the second book of the enjoyable series, Girls To The Rescue. The first, two other people in my family were also able to enjoy, which isn¿t hard. These books I recommend fully, it¿s one that you can¿t put away.

Whoever wrote this book had a brilliant idea! Although this does not prove that girls are better than boys, just like in stories where boys are the heroes doesn't prove that boys are better than girls, it was a great book for both genders.
