Drum roll please.... This may be the best graphic novel I have ever read, and beleive me I wouldn't use the phrase lightly because I have read just about everything. Don't let beautiful women on the covers fool you. Even though sexuality is a heavy theme in this book, it is always handled with honesty and integrity, without exploiting the human body in it's wake. The Luna Brothers got me hooked from the very first issue, and I was so hooked that I have gone out and found every original issue of their work since. This Series manages to have the human introspective depth of Alan Moore's Watchmen while kicking your teeth in with a kind of realistic action you can't find in the Marvel universe. The Best part about this book are the original concepts. Evey aspect of this book, from the characters, to the dialogue, to the plot direction, to the art are completely realistic. The kind of realism missing from unsophisticated Marvel and DC comics. I never knew what was going to happen next, and the character reactions, and metaphorical concepts that drive this book keep your brain spinning on questions about humanism, sexism, objectivity, and survivalism. And To top it all off you'll be biting your nails from page to page, because as much as this book is thought provoking, it is entertaining and intense as well. A Perfect blend of intrigue and enjoyment in beautiful pictures. READ THIS NOW!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
