Meet the Author

Andy Tyson has worked for years at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Alpine Ascents International, and Exum Mountain Guides. He teaches and guides in the world's high peaks and remote ranges, training aspiring climbers and guides.

Excellent instruction, excellent illustrations (clearer than pictures in other mountaineering books).

This is one of the best mountaineering book i have come across.. Mike Clelland is awesome illustrator.. very easy to understand concepts. even if you know them, it's easy to refresh using this book.
