Continuing on his solo way, Glamour is a bit of a letdown after such a great first effort. Once again, Davies handles all the singing, songwriting, producing, and playing except for drums to great effect. However, the tunes he has chosen this time out sound more like they were projected for a Kinks product that never came about. "Is This the Only Way" rocks with the best of them, while "Telepathy" is more majestic in its scope.
