All Music Guide - Andrew Leahey
The second Glee soundtrack throws a bone to the show's supporting characters, with Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) singing her first solo and Amber Riley (Mercedes) receiving a larger chunk of airtime. Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison continue to steal the show, though; Morrison delivers one of the album's most inventive songs with a mash-up of "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "Young Girl," while Michele sings the absolute pants off of everything the producers give her.

Great Singles, Less Than Stellar Album

Despite loving and over-playing the first installment of the Glee Soundtrack, I found myself slightly disappointed with Volume 2. However it does contain the song I was most excited to hear: Don't Rain on my Parade as sung by Lea Michele. What pipes, huh?

    Glee-ful Hits!

The second CD of songs from the TV show - very successful covers of popular tunes, presented by an ensemble cast with GREAT voices. Great for dancing, driving, or just singing along...you can't go wrong with this CD>

    The Glee fun continues

Just like volume 1, this CD delivers more Glee fun and amazing vocals. Must have both to enjoy one of the best new show on Fox, or any network, in years.

Some of the best arrangements I've heard since the originals.

Delightful show made even better by the fresh arrangements of classic songs. My favorites are Jump and Don't Rain on My Parade. Most of the songs are upbeat; good for playing when you need energy or want to get a lot of work done. Some are slower, but not boring. I enjoyed the entire CD.

    Beyond Awesome!

This is such a wonderfully fresh way of listening to various styles of music by some extremely talented actors. The gentlemen who visioned and created this program should be nominated for sainthood! And I'm a 60 year old grandmother! Long live Glee!
