I really liked this book.. i bypassed it a few times when i seen it in the shop but a friend had it in their library so i read it nd wish i started the series earlier..idk many ppl with nooks but im trying to add friends so we can share books:) anyone interested?

This was a very enjoyable read. I enjoyed the two different character viewpoints, and seeing their mutual attraction. The author has an authentic teen voice which manages to create a vibe between the main characters that is undeniably sensual, and yet layered with a kind of young and clueless innocence that's very sweet. The psychic concept on which the story is based felt fresh and had some nice surprises (nice for me, not always for the characters). I look forward to continuing reads in this series.

This book is soooooooo good! Although Im a seventh grader, i would recommend Glimpse to those in the 8th grade and older....unless you are mature enough to handle some strong curse words here and there and some teenage-like behavior between the main character and a boy. Great book for the money and i cant wait to read the second book.

Zellie is a relatable heroine, going through all the awkwardness of first love and growing up. The decision to alternate points-of-view between Zellie and Avery is a nice touch, showing truthfully that everyone feels self-conscious at this age. The alternating perspectives also give some believability to the fast-paced love story, allowing the reader to see how far back the attraction goes and making it impossible not to get caught up in the whirlwind romance. The overwhelming sense of fate that drives the novel is both beautiful and tragic, strongly reminiscent of "Romeo and Juliet," but with a streak of the supernatural. GLIMPSE blends darkness and light, tragedy and romance in a fascinating interplay. The young love is compelling and impassioned, made even more so by the storm clouds threatening their happy ending. However, the preternatural rules that govern this world are sometimes unclear and it's hard to know what to believe about the devastating vision at the heart of the novel.
Alongside the couple is Zellie's best friend Claire, one of the most vibrant characters in the novel. Claire is a refreshing counterpoint to Zellie's insecurities, showing someone who is unique and comfortable in her own skin. However, the adult contingent is appalling. This truly is a novel to empower the second generation because the adults behave like children: they are selfish and apparently hellbent on ruining each other's lives. The way they treat their children is especially horrifying, and makes the reader appreciate what well-adjusted kids they turned out to be, no thanks to their parents. This novel has an unusual flow, with the climax seeming to come in the middle of the novel -- however, Benefiel still has plenty of surprises up her sleeve, and the twists and turns this star-crossed saga takes will leave readers stunned.

Im 13 and this book was just fine for me. The book was not that bad just a few cuss words and dome making out. Stop being so over prtective. This book was relly goood.

Really good book, I just don't like the covers and it got a bit too extreme sometimes. Really good writing...you could feel like you were there! Definitely going to read the next books glimmer and glow once i get money.

This book was great i loved it. At part i would say what the heck! Put the book down walk out
Of the room and stare into space for a few seconds thinking about what i read. Being a cerious little me i would pick it up again . That happpened a few times but i really liked this book and would recomend this book to anyone i am no sure what the age level is probaly young adult (around 15 16 17 ) but it is really good.

This book is the best book I have ever read! People have said the beginning is "slow" but honestly I dont think so...it picks up into the story pretty quickly and the beginning is kind of important to see how some of these relationships will end up. I recommend this book to teens. Probably no younger than 13 because of parental reasons but this is seriously a great read!!!!!!

I realize the story is meant for teens but not all teens are shallow and lame. I'm sorry but this was not only poorly written but the characters were to surface. Save yourself the time and read somerhing with depth.

The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is the over-use of slangy teen terms. However, the plot is excellent, the characters are interesting and consistent, the ideas are original and fun, and the suspense is sufficient without dragging to the point of making one want to skip ahead in the book. I am looking forward to reading more of your excellent work.

I freaking loved this book. The way that the author made her own twist to psychics was really impressing. The drama was wonderful and the book as a whole was thrilling. If you're reading on your nook the book is about 362pages.

Glimpse is an easy, enjoyable read. Although a lot of the content is sophmoric and aimed at young teens, I found myself captivated with the story line.
