Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Studies have shown that babies like to look at other babies, including looking at pictures of them. In this board book, photographs take us on a trip around the world and show through their craft that babies everywhere are beautiful and special. Many of these babies are festooned with the jewelry, talismans and other accoutrements relating to their cultures. Some are asleep, others smile and many just gaze out at the viewer with inquisitive looks. It is the eyes that captivate us the most. So visit Asia, South America, Europe, Africa and many exotic places in between and share these delightful pictures with the babies in your life. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the Global Fund for Children (www.globalfundforchildren.org) to support innovative community-based organizations that serve the world's most vulnerable children and youth. Wish there were more books like it

I love the multicultural aspect of this book. Babies LOVE to look at babies and this is a great way to get babies used to seeing people that look different from them. I am a Social Studies teacher and a mom. I give this book as a shower gift for all new babies.
